Economic Security for a World in Crisis
Muhammad Yunus, founder and managing director of the Grameen Bank, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for developing the concept of microcredit as “an important instrument in the struggle against poverty.” He is the author, with Karl Weber, of Creating a World Without Poverty (Public Affairs, 2008).
