Mark Gilbert is a lecturer in the Department of European Studies at the University of Bath. In 1999–2000, he was professorial lecturer at the Bologna Center of The Johns Hopkins University and visiting associate professor at the University of Trento and the Dickinson College Center for European Studies in Bologna.
