As here defined, Greater Buenos Aires consists of the Federal Capital plus 14 surrounding counties in the Province of Buenos Aires; the Coast includes the rest of the Province of Buenos Aires plus the provinces of Corrientes, Entre Ríos, and Santa Fe; the Interior contains the provinces of Catamarca, Córdoba, Jujuy, La Rioja, Mendoza, Salta, San Juan, San Luis, Santiago del Estero, and Tucumán.
