Zhi (Yu) Lu is a Chinese trans asylum seeker residing on Lenape land (known as New York). They are a tattooer, an antidisciplinary artist, and an organizer with Trans Revolutionary Action Network.

Ren-yo Hwang (they/them) is an assistant professor in the Departments of Gender Studies and Critical Race and Political Economy at Mount Holyoke College. Their scholarship examines late twentieth-century carceral technologies, abolition, transformative justice, and QTBIPoC anti-violence activism and visual cultures of resistance. Their scholarship can be found in Abolition Feminisms (vol. 2; 2022), WSQ, QED: Journal of GLBTQ Worldmaking, Foucault Studies, TSQ, and Critical Ethnic Studies Journal. They currently serve on the board of Dignity Power Now and are a member of the anticarceral support network Trans Advocacy Group.

Christopher Joseph Lee is a President's Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Merced, where they are developing a book manuscript on the trans and queer of color aesthetic strategies that transform the politics of damage beyond carceral reprisal. Their research is published or forthcoming in the Transgender Studies Reader Remix, QED: A Journal of GLBTQ Worldmaking, and The New Inquiry. Beyond their academic roles, they cofounded Queer/Trans Zinefest, the largest queer- and trans-focused print fair in New England. They also serve on the board of the Providence Youth Student Movement, a coalition of Southeast Asian young people, queer and trans youth of color, and survivors of state violence organizing against detention and deportation.
