Albert Innaurato
Albert Innaurato holds a B.A. from Temple University and a M.F.A. in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale, he collaborated with Christopher Durang on several plays, including The Idiots Karamazov, for which they jointly received the CBS Playwriting Award; this play was subsequently given its professional premiere at the Yale Repertory Theatre. Mr. Innaurato has also been the recipient of the Molly Kazan Award for Playwriting and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Two of his plays, The Transfiguration of Benno Blimpie and Earthworms, were given at the O'Neill Theater Center. His work has also been performed at the Direct Theatre, the Ensemble Studio Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, and the Theatre-in-the-Round in Minneapolis.
