Sara Borjas is a self-identified Xicanx Pocha and an award-winning Fresno poet who teaches creative writing and English courses. Her work can be found in Ploughshares, The Rumpus, Academy of American Poets’ Poem-a-Day, and The Offing, among others. Her first collection, Heart Like a Window, Mouth like a Cliff, was published in 2019. She believes that all Black lives matter and will resist white supremacy until Black liberation is realized.
