Water is a continually sought after resource, and we are just beginning to fully understand the water wars to come. The long history of water struggle upon indigenous territories and the global South, such as the Cochabamba water wars in Bolivia and the #NoDAPL movements on Sioux territories, telegraph the future. How does water become the enlivened center of our historical and future planetary imaginaries rather than merely an afterthought?
