Arnaldo M. Cruz-Malavé is professor at and associate director of the Institute of Latin American and Latinx Studies at Fordham University. He is the author of Queer Latino Testimonio, Keith Haring, and Juanito Xtravaganza: Hard Tails (2007); editor of Manuel Ramos Otero: Cuentos (casi) completos (2019); and coeditor, with Martin Manalansan, of Queer Globalization: Citizenship and the Afterlife of Colonialism (2002).

Ren Ellis Neyra is associate professor of English and affiliated faculty in African American studies at Wesleyan University. Ellis Neyra is the author of The Cry of the Senses: Listening to Latinx and Caribbean Poetics (2020). Three new book projects are underway: one titled “Re-reading: The Violence of Relation”; another about the Kardashians, Bobbitts, and domesticity and violence; and a third about the long history of sovereignty in Caribbean literature.
