Getting by in the Foreverscape is a survey of Colin Matthes's artwork from 2010 to 2013. His work revolves around economic and environmental calamity. He finds a beauty in individuals and small groups with limited means creating their own solutions to larger problems. He engineers the absurd, opening the door to addressing economic and environmental crisis from a funny, critical, fatalistic, and industrious point of view.
