José Emilio Burucúa

Claudio E. Benzecry is associate professor of communication studies and affiliated faculty of sociology, Northwestern University. He is the author of the award-winning The Opera Fanatic: Ethnography of an Obsession (2011) and the editor of two volumes on culture and knowledge. His articles on the sociology of culture and the arts have been published in Theory and Society, Sociological Theory, and Ethnography.
