Fixing Democracy with Dialogue
Wojciech “W. P.” Małecki is assistant professor of literary theory at the University of Wrocław, Poland. His research draws on literary criticism, the environmental humanities, affect studies, and social psychology to explore the moral and political impact of various kinds of discourse, environmental narratives in particular. His books include Human Minds and Animal Stories: How Narratives Make Us Care about Other Species (2019) and Embodying Pragmatism (2010; Chinese edition, 2019). His work has also appeared in numerous journals, including Poetics, the Oxford Literary Review, ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, and PLOS One.
