Abstract
In Elizabeth Brockman's final “Editor's Introduction,” she reminisces about her twenty‐four‐year tenure as column editor of From the Classroom. The primary focus, however, is a celebration of Bev Hogue's “Ink, Blood, and Bones: Excavating History via Natasha Trethewey's ‘Native Guard,’ ” which is the final FTC manuscript she edited.
From the Classroom, Natasha Trethewey, column editor, “Native Guard”, Black soldiers in the civil war
