It is a great honor and a privilege to have been elected to serve as the editorial collective for New Political Science. In the past year, we have overseen the transition from Taylor & Francis to Duke University Press (DUP). This, our first edition working with the team at DUP, contains peer-reviewed articles, essays, reviews, and reflections that continue to advance the mission of the journal and the organization that oversees the journal, the Caucus for a Critical Political Science. This edition of New Political Science contains four sections with contributions from Caucus members old and new. Each section addresses timely problems that confront the critical project, perhaps today more than ever.
