David B Feldman is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and holds an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the American Graduate School in Paris. His research interests include global political economy, transnational migration, and political sociology, and his work has appeared in Critical Sociology; The Journal of World-Systems Research; Catalyst: A Journal of Theory and Strategy; Politique Americaine; La Revue des Droits de l’Homme; and The Journal of International Relations, Peace Studies, and Development, for which he serves on the editorial staff. He has also published in outlets such as Jacobin, Truthout, Counterpunch and Spectrezine.
