Jyl Josephson writes on gender, sexuality, and public policy. Her work with Porgerður Einarsdóttir and Svandís Anna Sigurðardóttir on Icelandic feminist, queer, and trans activism has recently been published in European Journal of Women’s Studies and Trans Studies Quarterly. Her most recent book is Rethinking Sexual Citizenship (SUNY 2016). She is currently working on projects on higher education and democracy, and on community organizing and local citizen activism.
