This review concerns the Walther Collection’s first photographic show, devoted to the work of Jo Ractliffe at the Project Space in New York. Radcliffe’s work offers the viewer a magical journey of remembrance through the long years of civil wars, mapping their tragedies onto the landscapes of our collective memory.
