Carl Hancock Rux
Carl Hancock Rux is a poet and playwright His Plays include Song of Sad Young Men, Chapter and Verse, Geneva Cottrell Waiting for the Dog to Die, and Pipe (which opened Sept in New York) Rux’s poetry has also been commissioned by The Alvin Ailey Dance company, Moving Spirits Dance Theatre among others. His work has appeared in many theatre festivals including: Maison Des Art Creteil (France). The National Institute for the Arts (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) University of Ghana (Legon) and the Teatro De Belligni (Naples, Italy). He lives in Brooklyn, New York
