Claudia Ferreira was born in Rio de Janeiro. During the eighties, she worked as a photographer for various newspapers, and was a Rio de Janeiro correspondent for the French News agency Sipa Press. Towards the end of the eighties, she started dedicating herself to photographing social movements, and feminist movements in particular.
Adriana Medeiros is a Brazilian documentary photographer. She contributes to media and editorial venues in defense of human rights. Medeiros develops documentation projects on social movements, especially black culture, women, housing, labor movements, and movements for dignified childbirth. Her work has been featured in several national and international exhibitions.
