Itoro Udofia is a first-generation Nigerian writer, educator, and musician based in the Bay area. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College in African American studies and theater, and her master's degree in teaching with a social-justice concentration. Some of her other writings have appeared in Your World News, A Radical Profeminist and Rain and Thunder Feminist Journal. Currently, she works as a community organizer focusing on providing quality education programs to historically marginalized populations in the Oakland community.
