From Rhymes

yolanda wisher is a 24-year-old poet/teacher who lives and works in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is currently writing poems and songs based on her research of double-dutch rhymes, scat singing, spirituals, and the blues. Wisher is also a fellow at Cave Canem, a workshop/retreat for African-American poets.
