In 2015 TOM WAYMAN was named a Vancouver, BC, Literary Landmark with a plaque on the city's Commercial Dr. honoring his foregrounding of people writing for themselves about their daily employment (https://www.vpl.ca/literarylandmarks/tom-wayman). His most recent books of poems are, in the US, Built to Take It (2014), and in Canada, Watching a Man Break a Dog's Back: Poems for a Dark Time (2020). His latest collection of essays is If You're Not Free at Work, Where Are You Free? Literature and Social Change (2018). https://www.tomwayman.com.
