As there are no notes added in that part, one must take care not to be misled by some dates no longer accepted. For instance, p. 120, flight of the Taira from Kyoto: 14 August 1183 (and not September); death of Yoshinaka: 4 March 1184 (and not 5); Yoritomo raised to the upper second rank: 23 January 1189 (and not February 1188). One must not confuse as it had been done p. 42, n. 1 and p. 5 of the Japanese preface, the death of the Emperor Horikawa which happened the 9th of August 1107 and the death of ex-Emperor Shirakawa which occurred the 24th of July 1129.
