sohoon yi is associate professor in the Division of Global Korean Studies at Korea University. Her research interests include migrant subjectivity at the intersection of gender, immigration laws, precarious labor, and the informal market. Her articles have appeared in American Behavioral Scientist, Citizenship Studies, Social Politics, and the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
