A new cycle has begun for JMEWS, the primary publication venue in English for interdisciplinary scholarship in the field of Middle East gender, sexuality, and women’s studies in the interpretive social sciences and humanities. After ten years at Indiana University Press under the enthusiastic leadership of Janet Rabinowitch, JMEWS moved to Duke University Press with the publication of volume 11. After four years at Yale University, the Editorial Office also moved to Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We thank Marcia Inhorn and Bonnie Rose Schulman, outgoing editor and managing editor, respectively, for pushing JMEWS to higher levels of excellence and prominence.
