Jennifer A. Reich is Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Denver. She is author of two award-winning books, Calling the Shots: Why Parents Reject Vaccines and Fixing Families: Parents, Power, and the Child Welfare System, as well as dozens of articles and book chapters that explore vaccinations, reproductive health, welfare, multiracial families, and recovery after disaster.
