Scott L. Greer is professor of health management and policy, global health, and political science at the University of Michigan and senior expert adviser on health governance to the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, Brussels. He has published on health and public health politics and policy in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and the European Union. His forthcoming books include the edited collection Federalism and Social Policy: Patterns of Redistribution in Eleven Democracies and the coauthored Putting Federalism in Its Place: The Territorial Politics of Social Policy Revisited.
