While I've been listed on the masthead for several months now, this is the first issue that I've shaped as editor. This gives me an opportunity to thank my predecessor Colleen Grogan for the superb job she did and for ensuring a smooth transition. I have inherited a journal in excellent shape thanks to her wisdom, creativity, and leadership. JHPPL has long been at the core of my professional identity and scholarly community and has been a wonderful outlet for my own research. I am honored to have the opportunity to help maintain JHPPL as a premier forum for health politics and policy research. JHPPL is now based at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University.
