Jacquelyn A. Burkell is associate professor and assistant dean of research in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario. She teaches media studies and library and information science, and she is involved in the development of the Program in Health Information Science, a joint initiative of the Faculties of Information and Media Studies and Health Sciences. Her teaching focuses on the design and use of online information, particularly consumer health information, and her recent research focuses on the implications of technology for the production and delivery of consumer health information.
Timothy Callaghan is a graduate student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota. His research interests include health policy, political psychology, political misperceptions, and income inequality.
