Aaron Carico
Aaron Carico is a lecturer in African American Studies and the Ethnicity, Race, and Migration Program at Yale University. Most recently, he was a Mellon Fellow at the Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities, and he has held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University. He is completing a manuscript titled Black Market: Slavery’s Currency in American Culture after 1865 (forthcoming, University of North Carolina Press).
