This is a collection of biographies of 680 specialists in Latin American history, listing their principal publications and interests. The book was published for the Conference on Latin American History and should be invaluable to librarians and anyone else interested in this rapidly expanding field. It is especially useful because it lists many doctoral candidates nearing the end of their work. These are likely to be the active Latin Americanists of the next generation.
