Bibliografía cubana, 1960

With this volume Dr. Peraza completed through 1960 the series of bibliographical annuals he has been publishing regularly since 1937. Although much of the work was done outside his native isle, he has maintained the high standards set in previous annuals and in the numerous bibliographical studies he has produced on Cuban topics. Some nine hundred items are listed alphabetically with adequate data about each and with cross-references to facilitate the work of the investigator. In the case of collected works or other types of composite publications, the contents are also indicated. Despite the handicaps under which the editor has labored, it seems that few items of importance have been omitted of publications appearing in Cuba, and many of those printed elsewhere are also listed. Nothing in the volume indicates any conscious bias or prejudice on the part of the editor.
