The American West, the journal of the newly established Western History Association, is scheduled to appear in January, 1964. Charter membership is still open.

The University of Florida Press is reprinting volumes one to thirteen of the Handbook of Latin American Studies. Prepublication price (before December 31, 1963), for the thirteen volumes is $150. After that date the price will be $15.00 a volume.

The Newberry Library has announced fellowships and Grants-in-Aid in the Humanities for 1964-65. These include twelve month postdoctoral and predoctoral Resident Research Fellowships and Grants-in-Aid for periods of three months or less. Applications for fellowships must be received by December 31, 1963. Applications for Grants-in-Aid must be submitted at least three months before the requested period of residence. Foreign Area Fellowships for the academic year 1964-1965 are available for Latin America through the American Council of Learned Societies and the Social Science Research Council. The fellowships are open to American and Canadian citizens and to permanent residents of the United States. Graduate students especially are invited to apply.
