In HAHR 80:3, a period was missing and a title was incorrect in Diana Paton’s review of Hilary Beckles, Centering Woman: Gender Discourses in Caribbean Slave Society. On page 596, line 2 of the text “ … Morgan’s The Slave Economy (1991) reveals why Beckles has taken a piece of work … ” should read: “ … Morgan’s The Slaves’ Economy (1991) reveals why. Beckles has taken a piece of work … ”

In HAHR 80:4, the editors wish to note that the book China to Me is not a novel. On page 945, line 23 of the text “… the birth of their first daughter in her best-selling novel China to Me (1944)” should read “… the birth of their first daughter in her best-selling China to Me (1944).”
