Noble David Cook passed away on April 8, 2024, after a brave yearlong battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, intellectual partner, and regular coauthor, Alexandra (Sasha) Parma Cook, and daughter, Karoline (Kaja) Cook, a history professor at Royal Holloway, University of London. Predeceased by son Greg, he is survived by son Vincent, an industrial designer in Connecticut. David is also survived by two grandchildren, Tyler and Caitlin, and daughter-in-law Lisa. His prolific work, both socially and academically meaningful, shall also outlive him.
