Jennifer Anne Boittin is assistant professor of French, Francophone studies, and history at the Pennsylvania State University. She is author of Colonial Metropolis: The Urban Grounds of Anti-imperialism and Feminism in Interwar Paris (2010). Tyler Stovall is professor of French history at the University of California, Berkeley. He has authored several books and articles on modern France and is completing a study of Paris in 1919.
