Katherine Eggert is associate professor and chair of English at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the author of Showing Like a Queen: Female Authority and Literary Experiment in Spenser, Shakespeare, and Milton (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2000) and of essays on Spenser, Shakespeare, Jonson, and Shakespeare on film. She is currently writing a book with the working title Unnatural Magic: Alchemy and Disknowledge in Early Modern England.
