His most recent book is Enabling Acts: The Hidden Story of How the Americans with Disabilities Act Gave the Largest US Minority Its Rights (2016), and he is editor of the Disability Studies Reader (2013) and Beginning with Disability: A Primer (2017). His book on representations of poverty is forthcoming.
