The Urban-Rural Imagination: The Politics of Subsistence in India
Sarika Chandra is Associate Professor of English at Wayne State University. She teaches in the areas of globalization studies, American studies, cultural studies, race and ethnic studies. Chandra is the author of Dislocalism: The Crisis of Globalization and the Remobilizing of Americanism (2011). Her current research concerns itself with the questions of the environment, food, agriculture, imperialism, and capitalism.
