Catherine Fisk is the Chancellor's Professor of Law at the School of Law, University of California, Irvine. She is the author of three books: Working Knowledge: Employee Innovation and the Rise of Corporate Intellectual Property, 1800–1930 (University of North Carolina Press, 2009), Labor Law in the Contemporary Workplace (with Cameron, Corrada, Dau-Schmidt & Malin, West Publishing Co., 2009), and Labor Law Stories (with Cooper, Foundation Press, 2005). Her current research focuses on attribution and intellectual property in employment relationships. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Princeton University and has been on the law faculties of Duke University and the University of Southern California.
