Laughing at the Last Will: Jyl of Braintford's Testament
Jill Ingram is an assistant professor at Ohio University, where she teaches Shakespeare and Renaissance literature. Her work investigates literary expressions of economic agency (Idioms of Self-Interest: Credit, Identity and Property in English Renaissance Literature, Routledge, 2006) and she is especially interested in festive genres such as the mock-testament. Her current project concerns the economics of festivity, and her edition of Love's Labour's Lost for the New Kittredge Shakespeare will be coming out this year (Focus, 2010).
