Sean Carney is an associate professor in the Department of English at McGill University, Montreal. He is the author of Brecht and Critical Theory: Dialectics and Con-temporary Aesthetics (Routledge 2005) and various articles on drama and theatre. His comics scholarship has appeared in Image Text and the Iowa Journal of Cultural Studies.
