Andrew Zawacki is the author of the poetry books Petals of Zero Petals of One (Talisman House, due 2008), Anabranch (Wesleyan 2004), and By Reason of Breakings (Georgia, 2002), as well as of several chapbooks, including Georgia (Katalanché), co-winner of the 1913 Prize; Arrow's shadow (Equipage); Roche limit (Track & Field); Bartleby's Waste-book (PS Books); and Masquerade (Vagabond), which received the Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award from the Poetry Society of America. Coeditor of Verse magazine and of the Verse Book of Interviews, he also edited Afterwards: Slovenian Writing 1945–1995 (White Pine). He teaches at the University of Georgia.
