Dead Letters and Circulating Texts: On the Limits of Literary Archiving
Philip Joseph teaches American literature and ethnic American literature at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. Most of his recent scholarly work focuses on the intersection of aesthetics and civic life, and he is currently initiating a Center for Public Humanities at the downtown Denver campus where he teaches. His book, American Literary Regionalism in a Global Age, was recently published by LSU Press (2007). His articles have appeared in American Literature, MELUS, and Studies in American Fiction.
