Esther Gabara is Assistant Professor of Romance Studies, and Art, Art History, and Visual Studies at Duke University. She has published articles on Latin American photography and literature in CR: The New Centennial Review and the Yearbook of Comparative and General Literature; Photography and Writing in Latin America: Double Exposures (University of New Mexico Press, 2005); and in A Historiografia Literária e as Técnicas de Escrita.
