Jean Gallagher is the author of two collections of poetry: Stubborn, winner of the FIELD Poetry Prize, and This Minute, winner of the Poets Out Loud Prize. She is also the author of The World Wars Through the Female Gaze, and her essays on photography and women's literary modernism have appeared in Modernism/Modernity and Modern Fiction Studies. She is an associate professor of English at Polytechnic University in New York City.
