Frameworks of Choice: Predictive and Genetic Testing in Asia
Lena Springer is contributing as a research fellow at University of Westminster to the Wellcome Trust–funded collaborative project “Beyond Tradition: Ways of Knowing and Styles of Practice, 1000 to the Present.” Her interests include occupational lives within Chinese medicine and its circulatory histories. Currently she examines the questions of how suppliers from various educational backgrounds work together with highly skilled prescribers of formulae to exchange materia medica across regions and to transgress regulatory demarcations of medicine and pharmacy.
