brad epps is John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Humanities at Harvard University. He has published a number of articles on Spanish, Latin American, and French literature, art, film, and cultural studies. His book, Significant Violence: Oppression and Resistance in the Narratives of Juan Goytisolo, has recently been published by Oxford University Press.
