Action Movie Hysteria, or Eastwood Bound

Paul Smith teaches in the Literary and Cultural Studies program at Carnegie Mellon. He is the author of Pound Revised (London: Croom Helm, 1984), and Discerning the Subject (Minneapolis: Minnesota UP, 1988), and co-editor with Alice Jardine of Men in Feminism (New York: Methuen, 1987). He is currently working on Clint Eastwood, masculinity, and film theory.
