Anupama Rao is associate professor of history and MESAAS, associate director of the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, and senior editor of Comparative Studies of South Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Casey Primel received his PhD from the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies at Columbia University. He is a former postdoctoral fellow of the Weatherhead Initiative on Global History at Harvard University.
