Mukharji's article is a set of reflections on how Dipesh Chakrabarty's The Calling of History might speak to historians of science. Mukharji describes how Chakrabarty's key concerns resonate closely with recent concerns of historians of science, before suggesting ways in which framing Chakrabarty's intervention within a history of science landscape might generate further avenues of investigation and critical reflection.
